While many papers in this volume and in other recent architectural publications have been enhanced by digitally generated imagery, architectural historians have not often considered explicitly the impact of the increasing reliance on digital methods for the recording, analysis, and publication of antiquity. The relative silence in the literature does not yet reflect the many lively conversations taking place among researchers who have experimented with and adopted a range of methods.
